Red Water Lily with a empty dragonfly nymph shell
A dragonfly nymph is born in aquatic ponds or stagnant water, and later grow into a full dragonfly after breaking apart from the shell.
A view of the eco garden
This picture is taken just before dawn break out. The place is a very peaceful site at a very quiet part in botanical garden.
I was introduced by a friend to visit this place.

Cricket
How they produce the sound?
Only male crickets actually produce sounds. The male crickets chirps to attract a female mate. The female responds only to the unique, characteristic sound of her own species. Crickets also chirp to establish their territories and defend it against competing males.
Crickets produce by rubbing their wings together. At the base of the forewing, a thick, ridged vein acts as a file. The upper surface of the forewing is hardened, like a scraper. When the male cricket wants to call for a mate, he lift his wings and pulls the file of one wing across the scraper of the other. The thin, papery portions of the wings vibrate, amplifying the sound.

Suspected Luzon Skimmer Dragonfly
The above dragonfly is my first successful shot that i manage to take closely. My personal rating for this is only 6 , as i think i can do better!!!
I suspect this is a Luzon Skimmer dragonfly species normally found by the pond and stream.
Wonder is this release by the biologist or naturalist in Singapore for breeding.
