Taiwan Day 5 and 6

Day5

Waoo!! Once we walk out of the hotel room, there is some Taiwan force doing some stunts as is a Sunday and I manage to capture some of the scenes of the moment.

Repelling, Inverted repel and unarmed combat and close contact with a armed person.

Although is a demonstration, but was quite ok… as is free !!

Then me and brother went to 三峡老街。The from the given name we can derived that the street going to enter is super antique trip.

We get to see temples along the way. Then we have our street food/ drinks and later for some photo taking.

In this town, you can expect to see old shadows of the past and you can roughly see and figure out their environment and the old antique items left for many years..

Then we leave from the place to places nearer to the hotel.

I went to Long shan temple again for some praying as a show of courteous. Walking along the streets, I saw fire engines station that I took a couple of shots of their base. I have loitered ard the city for a long time.

Day6

Wake up and after washup , I went to the National Sun Yan Seng Memorial Hall and saw many kids doing pop, breaking moves . Then took a picture of Taipei 101 and leave for wu fen pu to shop again after meeting Junrong for reorg. haha….Then at the night have dinner with Meya (The host) for the last dinner with her for our expedition trip.

Taiwan Day4

Around 12 pm, Meya and me took the Metro to Danshui. The name Danshui should sound familiar in Chinese meaning.

There is a display of pumpkin displays which shows the giant pumpkin in Taiwan.

It is a competition of pumpkins owners.

Along the shore, you can see the other side of Taipei which is a mountain in Bali.

Met one shi fu who is so skillful in sculptures that made a figure of this writer of the blog . That is me , dude!!

The town sell many foods and old stuff that we don’t get to see in our daily life.

I saw a stall which sells sweets that you can find during the 80s and 90s , but not the 2000s.

When we were about to leave the place, saw a group of young ladies performing for kids and stop by to take some pretty babes for my friends who love babes. Hhaaa…

We then took a bus to Chinese Culture University to take some scenery of mountain and the city.

This university sit at the top of the mountain where have the beautiful scenery of Taipei city.

Spend my time catching the sun and the moon light. Then we have dinner up on the mountain top and enjoying the view.

Taiwan Day 2 and 3 @ Taipei

The Hanzhong street at Xi men ti look so crowded in the night but looks so empty in the morning. I hardly can recognize if I have not remember the shops… hahaa

We took a one day tour and was brought around to have a look at Taipei to see some buildings and learn some history about Taiwan during the world war 2.We were brought witness some change over shift of their forces between 9 to 9:30am.Then we went up to mountain 九份. A street of old shop houses along the mountain cliff.

Saw my name up on the mountain doing some cats and dogs business.
Is amazing seeing how the building is built 20 or 30 years back on the mountain. The structures are mainly made from red bricks, which still last so long. Amazing.

The in the night I went to some hot spring bath that smell a bit like rotten eggs hahaa… then to shilin night market @ Jiantan station for some food and shopping.
Have noted that they have many various type of food that will amazed us too . Bubble tea they call it the “frogs lay eggs ”drink and some cuisine like “coffin bread”.

Day 3

Day 3

While waiting for our Host Meya , I have took some pictures of the train station and the way of the life style of Taiwanese.

They are using the token for accessing their Metro train. We went to the XinDian station and took some picture of a bridge which looks very old but hear from my friend saying the bridge is being re-enforce by metal brackets to prevent a falling bridge.

We took a bus to Wulai.

At Wulai , we borrow bicycles to see the waterfall and some hot spring, and you can just play around the river and the hot spring is just there. I am amazed to see that in a river which have two temperature in there.

There are small trams on the mountain too. Up on these mountain live the tribute villagers which is rare found in Taiwan anymore as the population decrease over the years.

Is a long way up , but I think is worth the effort to go up to see these people and scenery.

Then in the evening, went to some old wet market to see what the local people are doing in the urban area. While taking pictures, I was mistaken as some photographer who take photos for the magazines and they all try to look good for me to take a picture of them.

At ard 7 pm, we meet a group of happy people and we have dinner together in the main city of Taipei, is a great pleasure to know the local people.
